My name is Brandon Alexis Sanchez, and I am a first-generation college student from El Salvador. I got my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Santa Monica College. I graduated from UC Berkeley majoring in Art Practice. This last fall, I studied at Sotheby's Institute of Art in a course related to the Art Market and digital Futures.
I have been very passionate about photography since I was a kid. As a memory keeper, I not only capture memories but also freeze moments in time with photography. My works have appeared in different Southern California newspapers. I worked under different venues and organizations, such as the non-profit Local Hearts Foundation in Los Angeles and most recently, for the marketing department and the communication and public affairs at the University of California, Berkeley. You can see some of my featured work, here.
This website is more than a portfolio, I like to see it as my digital archive, showcasing my work across diverse landscapes, cultures, and artistic expressions.
I kept adding more and more new work. If you want to explore my street photography, you can visit "On The Streets", I have added a new collection of my photographs from Europe.
If you want to know more about my life, you can read the Berkeley News feature on my senior thesis exploring the Masculine Vulnerability, link here, and Santa Monica College's feature on my educational journey titled, Gritty Start, Glossy Finish.
