Brandon Sanchez Photography

From El Salvador to UC Berkeley — and Beyond
My name is Brandon Alexis Sanchez. I'm a first-generation college student from El Salvador, a UC Berkeley graduate in Art Practice, and a photographer with a lifelong passion for capturing moments that matter.
Photography has been part of my life since childhood. As a memory keeper, I don't just take pictures — I freeze moments in time and preserve the stories behind them.
My academic journey took me from Santa Monica College, where I earned my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, to UC Berkeley, and most recently to Sotheby's Institute of Art in London, where I studied Art Market and Digital Futures. That path — rooted in curiosity, culture, and creativity — shapes everything I bring to my work.
My photography has appeared in Southern California newspapers, and I've had the privilege of working with organizations like the non-profit Local Hearts Foundation in Los Angeles and, most recently, the Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs departments at the University of California, Berkeley. Today, I'm proud to be a registered vendor and supplier for UC Berkeley.
I specialize in graduations, portraits, and community events — creating images that feel both timeless and deeply personal. Browse my portfolio to see featured work from my time at Cal and beyond.
